Welcome to Subkio, a software product owned and operated by Ecomty Ltd. By accessing https://subkio.com or installing and using the Subkio: Watch with Two Subtitles browser extension (the "Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service entered into with Ecomty Ltd.
1. Description of the Software & Independent Status
Subkio is an independent client-side browser extension that displays dual-language subtitle overlays, word translations, and vocabulary learning controls inside supported web video players.
Mandatory Trademark & Non-Affiliation Disclaimer: Subkio is an independent software product. Subkio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to YouTube, Google LLC, or Netflix, Inc. All third-party trademarks, service marks, and company names belong to their respective owners. Subkio does not host, stream, download, rip, or redistribute any copyrighted video or audio content; it operates strictly as a visual accessibility and language-learning overlay on content the user is already authorized to view.
2. Free Plan and Pro License Keys
- Free Plan (€0): Provides up to 15 minutes per day of dual-subtitle display and up to 5 saved phrases at no cost.
- Subkio Pro (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime): Unlocks unlimited daily watching time, the interactive word hover dictionary, auto-pause on hover, and unlimited saved phrases with CSV export.
- License Delivery & Scope: Upon purchase, you receive an instant alphanumeric License Key via email and checkout confirmation. A personal Pro License Key may be activated on up to 3 personal browsers/devices belonging to the purchaser. Sharing, reselling, or publicly posting license keys is strictly prohibited and may result in key revocation.
3. Pricing, Subscriptions & Taxes
All prices are displayed clearly before checkout (including €2.99/month, €19.99/year, and €34.99 one-time Lifetime access). Payments and applicable local VAT/sales taxes are processed securely by our Merchant of Record. Recurring subscriptions (Monthly or Yearly) renew automatically unless canceled prior to the renewal date; you may cancel at any time in one click via the billing link in your receipt email or by contacting support@subkio.com.
4. Acceptable Use & Limitation of Liability
You agree not to reverse-engineer, abuse automated translation endpoints, or use the Software for unlawful purposes. The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, as third-party video platforms may occasionally update their player interfaces. When platform changes occur, we work promptly to release compatibility updates.
